Y O U M I G H T H A V E H E A R I N G L O S S 4 STEPS: HOW TO RECLAIM YOUR HEARING The healthy ear The ear has three main elements: outer, middle and inner ear, each of which is vital to our ability to hear clearly. Anything that disturbs the delicate balance inside the ear can upset the way we receive and interpret sounds. Is your hearing as good as it used to be? For most people, some hearing loss is due to normal wear and tear – a fact of life. One in five people over 55 has difficulty hearing, and that figure rises to one in two for those over 65. The good news is that help is available for those who choose to find it. Just as we get our eyes checked regularly, taking good care of our hearing is no less important. If a check-up shows that you do have a hearing difficulty, you should address it sooner rather than later. Start to enjoy life to the fullest once again! Studies show that people tend to put off a hearing test for up to seven years after first recognizing a hearing loss. If that’s the case with you, NexGen Hearing has made it easy with four simple steps! 1 Online Hearing Screening Test and Virtual Hearing Consultation On-Line Hearing Test Are you concerned about your hearing?
